Stradun is one of the most iconic places in Dubrovnik and the historical center of this city. Even if the pedestrian street expands for only 300m, you will never run out of places to visit and to explore, while here. The alleys are paved with cobblestone and the overall experience is breathtaking. The imposing city walls and the impressive monuments, will make you feel like you just took a leap in time, and you’re back in the golden ages. 2) The natural wonders
You shouldn’t leave Dubrovnik until you admire its amazing natural landscapes. Mount Srd is one of the greatest natural attractions, and you can see that on your own. The mountain’s paths are marked, so you can hike with no problems and reach the top. While on the top, you should prepare your camera because the sights are simply amazing. For a more intense experience, you should visit it at dusk, right before sunset. Enjoy the silence and see how the sun goes down, shadows the Old Town and then sinks into the sea. On your way back, you should take the cable car it’s totally worth it.

If you want to understand this city’s traditions, you should go see a folklore show. These festivals are mostly on summer and they present Dubrovnik’s culture in a pleasant and interesting way. Dubrovnik is located right on the Adriatic coast, so why not take advantage of that. Rent a boat and start exploring the nearest islands. Sailing on the Adriatic sea doesn’t compare with anything else. The crystal clear water and the wind, gently blowing into your face, will make you feel amazing. The water is warm and you can always get off the boat and go for a swim. Or you can just admire the landscapes. You can have an overall view of the whole city but in the same time, of the nearest islands.
