Cut flowers add romance to Valentine’s Day, and there are many choices available. Some tips to remember about fresh cut flowers is to change the water in the vase often to prolong the blooms and keep out of extremely warm areas. Always keep the stems in water and try to avoid having leaves below the water line. If flowers begin to droop, try cutting the stem a little shorter to see if that will work. It does sometimes and is worth a try.
